How it works.

Free audit
Our robot loads your site on a phone the way a customer would, runs Google’s own speed test, and checks what Google and AI assistants can read: titles, structured data, answers, llms.txt, crawler access.

The swap
Say yes, check out, and we point your address at the new site. Your email, phone number and Google listing don’t change.
Live in days, not months
Found by Google and AI.
Customers don’t just search anymore. They ask Google’s AI, ChatGPT, Gemini and Siri, and the answer comes from the sites those assistants can read and trust. Every SiteSwap site is built for all four ways of being found, and your free audit scores you on each of them today.
Search engines
Found and ranked by Google.
Unique titles and descriptions, a page for every service, sitemap and canonical tags, image descriptions, fast on a phone.
Answer engines
Quoted in Google’s answer boxes, Maps and Siri.
Your name, address, phone, hours and reviews in structured data, and plain-sentence answers to the questions customers ask, with FAQ markup.
Generative engines
Cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
Clear about who you are, what you do, where and since when. Specific facts an AI can repeat: services, service area, hours, prices where you have them.
AI crawlers
Readable by every crawler, today and next year.
AI crawlers allowed in robots.txt, an llms.txt summary, content in the HTML itself, Open Graph previews, accessible markup.

Most service-business sites score under 25 out of 100 on AI readiness. SiteSwap sites score 95 or better, because the structured data, answers and llms.txt are built in, not bolted on.
What we check.
Twenty-two checks in four groups, from how it loads on a phone to whether ChatGPT can cite you. Each one measured, not guessed, and explained in plain English. They’re the same things we fix.
On a phone
What a customer experiences in the first ten seconds.
- Shows on a phone
- How long until the main picture is on screen, measured with Google’s own test. Over half of mobile visitors leave a page that takes more than 3 seconds.
- Tap to call
- Whether your phone number is a button that opens the dialer, or plain text a customer has to type in.
- Online request form
- Whether a customer who finds you at night can leave the job, or only an email link.
- Built for phones
- Whether the page fits a phone screen or shows as a tiny desktop page you have to pinch.
- Works for everyone
- Google’s accessibility score: poor eyesight, screen readers, keyboards. Scored out of 100. Clean, accessible markup is also what AI assistants read best.
- Looks current
- Copyright year, broken links and other signs that nobody is looking after the site.
Search (SEO)
Whether Google can find you, tell your pages apart, and rank them.
- Clear on Google
- The title and description Google shows in results. Missing or identical ones mean Google can’t tell your pages apart.
- Pages Google can find
- How many pages your site really has, from your sitemap. Google ranks pages, not businesses: one page per service gives each search something to land on.
- Pages Google can tell apart
- Whether each page has its own title, or every page says the same thing.
- Canonical and sitemap
- The tags and files that tell Google which address is the real one and where every page is.
- Secure connection
- The padlock. Without it browsers say “Not secure” and Google ranks you lower.
- Image descriptions
- Whether your photos are described (alt text) or labelled things like “Image 488”. Google and AI assistants can’t see pictures, only read about them.
Answers (AEO)
Whether Google’s answer boxes, Maps and voice assistants can quote you directly.
- Business details Google can read
- Your name, address, phone and hours in structured data (LocalBusiness), so Google Maps, Siri and answer boxes show them correctly.
- Business hours
- Whether customers can see when to call, and whether you’re open right now.
- Direct answers on the page
- Whether the site answers the questions people actually ask, like “do you do emergency calls” or “how much is a water heater”, in plain sentences an answer engine can lift.
- Question-and-answer markup
- FAQ structured data, which is how Google decides to show your answer under the search box.
- Reviews Google can read
- Your rating and review count marked up on the site, not just on Google Maps.
AI search (GEO) and AI readiness
Whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI can read, trust and cite you.
- AI assistants allowed in
- Whether your robots.txt lets AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended) read the site, or blocks them by accident.
- llms.txt
- A short plain-text summary of your business that AI assistants read first. Most sites don’t have one yet.
- Readable without JavaScript
- Whether your content is in the HTML itself or only appears after scripts run. Many AI crawlers read the raw HTML.
- Clear about who, what, where
- Whether a machine can tell what you do, where you do it and since when, from your home page alone. Vague sites don’t get cited.
- Social and link previews
- Open Graph tags, so a shared link shows a picture and title in texts, Facebook and AI answers.

The free audit comes first. If there’s room to improve, we build your actual new site and send you a private link. You decide. If it’s a no, you never hear from us again.
Questions, answered.
- Is the audit really free and automatic?
- Yes. You give us your address, name and email. Our robot loads your site on a phone, counts your pages, checks what Google and AI assistants can read, runs Google’s speed test and shows you the results on screen. Nobody calls you.
- What are SEO, AEO and GEO?
- SEO is search engine optimization: being found and ranked by Google. AEO is answer engine optimization: being quoted directly in Google’s answer boxes, Maps and voice assistants like Siri. GEO is generative engine optimization: being read, trusted and cited by AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Every SiteSwap site is built for all three, and the free audit shows where you stand on each today.
- What does “AI ready” mean for a plumber’s website?
- When someone asks an AI assistant for a plumber in your town, the answer comes from sites it can read and trust. AI ready means your site lets AI crawlers in, states plainly who you are, what you do, where and since when, has structured data for your business details and reviews, answers common questions in full sentences, and includes an llms.txt summary. We check all of it, and we build all of it.
- Do you need access to my site or passwords?
- No. We only load your site the way a visitor would. We never touch your current site, your email or your domain until you’ve said yes to a swap.
- What happens after the audit?
- You read it. If you want, you press one button to request a free preview. We build your real new site and send you a private link, usually within two to three days. No obligation.
- What if my site scores well?
- We tell you so, and that’s the end of it. The audit is honest; the speed and accessibility numbers come from the same test Google uses.
- Do we keep our web address and email?
- Yes. Your address stays yours, we only point it at the new site. Your email, phone number and Google listing don’t change.
- How fast can it go live?
- Days, not months. The site is built and tested before you pay. After checkout you fill in a short form (hours, service area, photos), we make the changes, and we switch it on with no downtime.
- What does the monthly plan cover?
- Hosting, security and your SSL padlock, delivering request emails to your inbox, small changes like hours or photos, and a monthly check that everything works, including how Google and AI assistants see you. Or host it yourself and pay us nothing monthly.
- What if we stop later?
- We help move the site to accounts you own, so it keeps running. No long contract.
